How Many Kids Must Die Before You Ask Questions?
Eight kids blown to shit in three days while travelling in "armoured" personnel carriers while out to exact revenge for the Canadians killed on September 11th, 2001. Or at least it sounds like a mission of revenge most times Prime Minister Harper tries to justify the mission to an evermore skeptical public.
Of course his justifications vary depending on who he is addressing. One day he talks about our mission being to go after those who killed Canadians on 9/11, the next it is to support a democratically elected government, the next it is to bring freedom to a war torn nation.
To bad they are all provable lies.
Yes, Canadians did die on 9/11 - but it was a false flag event - the people and government of Afghanistan had nothing to do with it. Yes they are an 'elected' government, but only so far as you consider an election under foreign occupation to be democratic and a true reflection of the will of the voters. Yes we are fighting to bring freedom to the country - the freedom to run a pipeline through it.
Seriously - how many Canadian kids have to get blown to shit before people start to truly question the reasoning behind our mission to Afghanistan rather than buying the euphemisms from those who promote the war?
There is a mountain of evidence that puts the lie to the official version of what happened on September 11th, 2001 - however most people dismiss it as conspiracy without actually looking at any of it. They take the easy/lazy way out and continue to either support Canadian kids getting blown to shit, or stay quiet all the while knowing these kids are dying for a lie.
Every death of a Canadian soldier in Afghanistan is a stain on all of us, and we all bear some responsibility for these families having to go through losing loved ones. How can we not be responsible for someone being killed over there when it is our own fault for not questioning the provable lies and liars that put them there in the first place?

Hypocrits 'R' Us. Sham-erica.
Not a day goes by that America and its citizens don't show their hypocritical side. The side that allows them to talk of aggressive behaviour by other nations while being the only nation currently occupying two other nations...both of course based on lies.
They talk of Russia using energy as a political weapon being bad, while they threaten to cut aid to nations if they don't work for America's interests - even at their own expense (see Pakistan).
Last night on CNN's Lou Dobb's Tonight there was a report about Venezuela's military spending. The point was that Venezuela has been spending their oil revenues on a military build up, and that it was going to destabilize the region. The report is so fucking hypocritical it is beyond funny - heading into ludicrous!
First off, Venezuela's military budget is less than 1% of the US military budget. Less than 1% of what the US spends, yet it is Venezuela who is the problem!! But they didn't mention that. Second, Venezuela is spending many billions more on social programs for its largely poor citizens...but not a word about this either. The report did its best to make you think Venezuela is spending all its oil revenues on military hardware to destabilize the region and nothing on improving the welfare of its citizens.
You are not supposed to like Hugo Chavez or the type of society he is working to create in Venezuela.
Left unsaid is that the US is not afraid that Venezuela will destabilize the region, they are afraid that Venezuela will help lead the region out from under the American imperialist boot. Basically, they are afraid that Venezuela will help destabilize America's hegemony over the region.
US Vice President Dick Cheney says China should be more transparent with their military spending, and that the recent Chinese test of destroying a satellite is proof that they are not really planning a peaceful rise as a responsible global power. Nevermind that the US openly talks about a possible future conflict with China and that the US plans to put weapons in space...it is the Chinese actions (which are clearly intended for self defense) that the US says we should all be worried about. Basically, the US announced that they may go to war with China in the future - and will likely have space based weapons - but China's testing of a defensive capability is the thing to worry about. Un-fucking-believable!!
Nevermind that China has pushed a treaty for years which would ban weapons from space, but the US has blocked this effort. Nevermind that China spends way less per capita each year on their military than the US($1550 per person), France($740 per person) or Britain ($705 per person) at around $50 per person. (take $'s and divide by population)
No, nevermind reality. You just worry about what we say - regardless of what we actually do.
Lucky for these assholes the majority of their citizens happily live in a world of make believe where whatever they do is noble, and whatever the designated enemy does it is evil - regardless of reality.
