Average Citizen Finally Waking Up?

I must have woken up in an alternate universe this morning. I Just came across two web polls showing very surprising results (to me anyhow). I'm really hoping it is a sign that people are starting to again think for themselves, rather than allowing government and media to spin them in the direction they want them to go.

The first is from a Toronto radio station, AM640 :

It is really nice to see a mainstream radio station in Canada's largest city first of all asking the question, and second, getting such an overwhelming response in favour of the more provable alternate theories on 9/11. Unfortunately I cannot figure out the date the poll was up, and how many votes they tallied.

The second poll that I found a little shocking was on the Canoe site :

Although it is a pretty small sample size, I find it reassuring that the majority of those who cast a vote realize that taking guns away from private citizens is not going to keep criminals from getting their hands on illegal guns. We'll see how long it takes for the gun control advocates to take advantage of the latest school shooting in Montreal.
