Electronic Election Problems in Quebec

Following the US from one disaster to the next :
The election was an expensive disaster marked by errors, which produced inaccurate numbers and unreliable results, the report said. And the new electronic system is to blame, it adds.

I guess seeing every election in the US that used electronic voting machines become complete messes wasn't enough to keep Montreal from going the electronic route!! Smart move jackasses!!

But here's the real kicker :
But it's too late to question the results, Blanchet concludes.

This is according to Quebec's chief electoral officer, Marcel Blanchet.

Are you kidding me? You tell us that the results are not reliable, but not to question them because it's too late?

It's never too late to assure the voters that their votes were counted properly - this is a democracy after all! Without voter confidence the word 'democracy' means absolutely nothing!

Of course, I don't personally think too many folks in positions of power are very concerned with true democracy anyhow...
